BEAR (UNION REPLICA) The Weatherford Horizontal multiplex pump is a traditional horizontal, packed plunger pump designed to basic compliance of API 674.
The Weatherford Horizontal pump is designed as an "all purpose" industrial fluid handling system.
Key Benefits
- Fluid end
- Standard fluid cylinder is forged stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. Carbon steel and aluminum bronze models are available.
- Tapered valve seat with access through single point for ease of maintenance. Wing guided, abrasion resistant, and disc type valves are available.
- Removable stuffing boxes to simplify field replacement.
- Standard packing is self lubricating Teflon/Kevlar.
- Plunger is removable through Fluid Cylinder.
- Connections bolt on suction and discharge connection in both threaded and butt weld arrangement. Allows flexibility in system packaging.
- Drive end
- Main Bearings are single row tapered roller bearings with 30,000 hour design life. Bearings are caged in frame to protect power frame and ease replacement.
- Power Frame is cast iron for strength and weight reduction.
- Crankshaft is forged steel for added strength and load carrying capacity.
- Rod bearings are replaceable insert type with twin tabs. Allow oil circulation and ease of replacement.
- Connecting Rod is cast steel for added load carrying capacity. Can be serviced without crankshaft removal through the cradle area.
- Splash lubrication supplied as standard, crankshaft design improves oil pick up. Optional positive crank case lubrication allows for low speed operation.
- Crossheads are ductile iron with oil grove to give proper lubrication to pin bushing. Held in place by snap ring and set screw.
- Intermediate rods have a lock ring with allen-head screws to secure the connecting rod to the crosshead.
